Janiak interested in the mechanism of mimicry in nature, in which the body develops the processes, textures and colors, reflecting its natural habitat. This process involves interaction between different organisms. The photographer describes it as “a complex co-evolutionary mechanism involving three types: model, simulator and dupes”.SEB Janiak bypasses taxidermy and antique stores in search of samples of the wings, which are then photographed in high resolution. In the process of photomanipulation, he composes the expanded flower buds of wings of insects. It is a kind of imitation of mimicry.
